Other training afforded to our staff includes health and
safety courses, pressure area care training, cross infection awareness, training in customer service skills and subjects relating to nursing.

  • All of our staff are inducted in a programme that fully assesses their training needs.
  • Members of the team who are involved in food preparation are trained in food hygiene awareness.
  • Employees who need to help residents move will attend an accredited moving and handling course.
  • Qualified first aiders are on duty at our homes at all times. All staff attend fire lectures on a six-monthly basis.
