The Role

We are looking for an Activities Coordinator to join our fantastic team at our 70 bed Care Home in Romford – 32 hours per week.

Our dedicated Activities Coordinators offer a wide variety of therapeutic activities 7 days a week to engage our residents’ minds and bodies. We organise outings to popular locations and places of interest in our minibus to encourage our residents to get out and about and stay in touch with the community.

An Activity Coordinator is required with creative enthusiasm and self motivation for this 'hands-on'
position within a purpose-built Care Home in Romford.

The Activities Coordinator will be required to:

·         Plan weekly activities in line with the requests and choices of the residents

·         Enhance the well being of residents through social and physical activities

·         Assess need and plan individual activities for residents who are unable to participate in group activities

·         Motivate the care team and promote the importance of activities
